LONDON (Alliance News) - Premaitha Health PLC, which develops genetic screening tests, said Friday that Peter Collins has stepped down as chief business officer and director of the company with immediate effect.
"Peter has played a critical role in the development and success of Premaitha Health, not least in bringing Yourgene into the group and in the recent negotiations with Illumina. His industry network and willingness to travel the world on behalf of Premaitha have helped us to become a truly global business and he leaves the business with a healthy platform for further growth. We wish Peter the best of luck in his future endeavours," said Chief Executive Lyn Rees.
On Thursday, Premaitha shareholders approved change of the company's name to Yourgene Health PLC. No specific date was given for the name change.
For the first half September-end, the company is predicting a 45% year-on-year jump in revenue to GBP3.9 million from GBP2.7 million and momentum continuing into the second half of the year.
Shares in the company were trading 0.8% lower at 9.07 pence each.
