LONDON (Alliance News) - Security and surveillance system developer Petards Group PLC Thursday said it has won an GBP800,000 contract with the UK Ministry of Defence to provide communications equipment and related services.
This contract covers the deliver of radio equipment and engineering support services, a "good proportion" of which Petards expects to deliver during the first half of 2016.
"Petards is very proud of its long established relationship with the MOD in this field and we believe that our consistently high levels of customer service together with our longstanding accreditations and expertise in supporting the MOD has again been recognised through the award of this contract," Chairman Raschid Abdullah said in a statement.
Petards expects to report 2015 results March 15.
Shares in Petards were up 1.5% at 12.81 pence Thursday morning.
