Patagonia Gold Chief Operating Officer Matthew Boyes Leaves

24th Apr 2018 14:42

LONDON (Alliance News) - Patagonia Gold PLC on Tuesday said that its Chief Operating Officer Matthew Boyes stepped down on Thursday last week.

Boyes has been with the gold and silver mining company since 2010, it said, and will remain as a consultant for the following half-year to assist Patagonia Gold in the installation of a new crushing circuit at Cap Oeste project in Argentina and to assist with the transition to a new chief operating officer.

The company said it had already started the search and will update shareholders accordingly.

"The board wishes to thank Matthew for his contribution to the company during the 8 years he was with the company and wishes him well in his future endeavours," Patagonia Gold said.

The stock was trading 3.2% lower at 1.50 pence per share on Tuesday.
