(Alliance News) - Onward Opportunities Ltd on Wednesday said it has raised GBP3.4 million through a subscription of 3.3 million shares.
The UK smaller companies-focused investment firm said the shares were priced at 102.5 pence. Its shares were untraded at 104.80p on Wednesday afternoon.
The company started trading on London's AIM market on March 30. Since the, the stock is up just 0.8%.
Onward Opportunities said the fundraise will provide the company with additional resources with which to pursue its stated investing policy.
Non-Executive Chair Andrew Henton said: "The new money raised will increase the opportunity set for the company. We hope to continue tapping investor demand for new shares as the company develops over coming months and years."
