(Alliance News) - Sirius Petroleum PLC on Friday said it will not be able to publish its 2018 accounts by June 30 as its agreement concerning a Nigerian oil and gas field has been "unavoidably delayed".
Sirius did not disclose the reason why the conditional farm-in agreement and conditional joint operating agreement was delayed, although did say the deal it not related to previous announcements concerning OML 109.
"The company will provide appropriate updates on the status of the proposed transaction and timing for the publication of 2018 financial accounts as soon as it is able," said Sirius.
Shares in the company closed down 4.5% Friday at 0.38 pence each.
