Mporium Group To Be Placed Into Creditors' Voluntary Liquidation

4th Dec 2019 18:25

(Alliance News) - Mporium Group PLC on Wednesday said it has instructed Begbies Traynor Group PLC to assist with placing the company into creditors' voluntary liquidation, having considered the financial position of the company.

All shareholders have been written to and all creditors will be written to within the next few days, the company added.

The marketing technology firm in November appointed administrators for its trading unit Mporium Ltd as it was unable to address its financial position. The company appointed Kirstie Provan and Gary Shankland of Begbies Traynor as administrators to its trading subsidiary.

In October, Mporium indefinitely adjourned its general meeting and requested shares be temporarily suspended from trading on AIM market due to uncertainty regarding its financial position.

Mporium shares last closed on October 21 at 0.50 pence on London's junior market.
