Ludgate Environmental Net Asset Value Per Share Declines In Full Year

LONDON (Alliance News) - Ludgate Environmental Fund Ltd reported a decline in net asset value per share for its recently ended year to end-June.

The fund, which has investments in waste and recycling, renewable energy, energy efficiency and water, said its net asset value per share as at the end of June was 60.6 pence, compared to 66.5 pence a year before.

It made investments during the year totalling GBP3.0 million in three existing portfolio companies. It realised GBP1.8 million from the sale of its interest in Lumicity.

The fund is fully invested, and at an extraordinary general meeting last September agreed to extend the life of the fund to the end of June 2018, with the expectation that the portfolio would be mostly sold by mid 2017.

Shares in Ludgate Environmental Fund were untraded Monday. They last closed at 35.44 pence.
