LONDON (Alliance News) - Legendary Investments PLC Friday said it has sold its stake in two fellow London-listed companies which operate within the mining sector as the company turns its attention to its "core investments".
Legendary Investments said it has sold its entire stake held in Oracle Coalfields PLC and Sula Iron & Gold PLC, but the disposals only raised a total of GBP25,000 for Legendary Investments.
Legendary Investments said although the proceeds were low, the decision to exit those investments demonstrates its focus on its core investments in Virtual Stock, Bosques Energeticos SA de CV, Manas Resources LLP and Amedeo Resources PLC, which is also listed in London.
Legendary Investments said it is continuing to look at new investment opportunities.
Legendary Investments shares were trading down 5.7% to 0.297 pence per share on Friday afternoon. Oracle Coalfield shares were down 3.0% to 2.40p whilst Sula shares were down 2.3% to 0.171p.
