Jupiter Fund Management ups dividend amid positive flows in first half

23rd Jul 2026 12:38

(Alliance News) - Jupiter Fund Management PLC on Thursday reported positive flows in a "strong first half" as it raised its dividend and profit increased.

The London-based active asset manager said pretax profit rose 29% to GBP35.4 million in the six months to the end of June from GBP27.5 million a year earlier.

Net revenue was up 39% at GBP213.3 million from GBP153.9 million.

Jupiter Fund Management reported positive net flows of GBP700 million, swung from GBP200 million outflows a year ago.

"Jupiter has had a strong first half of 2026, building on the momentum across the business. We have again delivered positive net flows, investment performance remains strong and most of our key financial metrics have materially improved," said Chief Executive Officer Matthew Beesley.

The firm raised its interim dividend to 3.7 pence per share, up 76% from 2.1p a year ago.

Assets under management were up 56% to GBP73.7 billion at the end of June from GBP47.1 billion a year ago.

"Investment performance, which remains a prerequisite for sustained client flows, remained strong with 77% of pre-existing Jupiter mutual fund AUM outperforming their peer group median over a three-year period," CEO Beesley added.

Looking ahead, he said: "We are optimistic for an improvement in client sentiment through the remainder of 2026. The group is more resilient and more diversified today and is well-positioned to deliver for clients and shareholders."

Shares in Jupiter Fund Management were down 4.1% at 156.70 pence on Thursday afternoon in London.
