4th Aug 2026 15:26

(Alliance News) - The JP Jenkins-15, an index of the largest companies listed on the UK share dealing platform, rose in July amid "limited trade", JP Jenkins said on Tuesday.

The index stood at 1,279.02 on July 31, up 1.1% from 1,264.30 on July 3. It is up 5.8% from 1,209.1 points at the start of 2026 and 28% from a baseline of 1,000 points at the start of 2025.

The next index price calculation will be on September 4.

London-based JP Jenkins provides a matched bargain platform for unlisted companies.

On Tuesday, Novastar Hotel Group PLC joined the platform with a starting market capitalisation of GBP7.0 million, based on 10.0 million shares in issue at a price of 70.00 pence per share. The stock had not yet traded on JP Jenkins as of Tuesday afternoon.

The London-based company recently purchased the Langham Hotel Eastbourne on the south coast of England, and aims to build a portfolio of 25 hotels across the UK over the next five years.

Novastar said it operates a "hybrid hospitality model" that "combines short-term rental accommodation with traditional hotel rooms, alongside a destination-led restaurant and bar concept".
