(Alliance News) - Journeo PLC on Thursday said it has received an order worth GBP1.9 million to supply its passenger information systems and software.
Shares in the information systems and transport technical services provider - formerly known as 21st Century Tech - were up 1.5% at 69.00 pence each on Thursday afternoon in London.
The order was placed by a transport partnership comprised of four local authority customers, Journeo said, adding that GBP1.5 million of the GBP1.9 million order is expected to be delivered and realised in 2020.
"We are delighted to be working with this transport partnership as they begin to transform their cities and regional public transport infrastructure. We work closely with our customers and have spent a great deal of time developing enhancements to both the displays and our content management systems to ensure that the displays benefit from being connected to the InternetofThings," said Chief Executive Russ Singleton.
