LONDON (Alliance News) - James Fisher & Sons PLC said Thursday it has promoted its independent non-executive director to senior independent director with immediate effect.
David Moorhouse succeeds Malcolm Paul, who became chairman of the company following its May 3 annual general meeting.
Moorhouse is the former executive chairman of Lloyds Register Group Ltd and was chief executive officer of John Brown PLC. He is currently a non-executive chairman at Braemer Shipping PLC and a non-executive director at OAO Sovcomflot.
Shares in James Fisher & Sons were trading down 1.6% at 1,778.00 pence on Thursday afternoon.
