LONDON (Alliance News) - James Fisher & Sons PLC Wednesday said its defence unit has been awarded a new contract to provide the Royal Australia Navy's submarine escape and rescue capability for the next five years, plus options through to 2024.
The company didn't give any financial details about the contract.
The James Fisher Submarine Rescue Service has provided escape and rescue services to the Royal Australia Navy since 2008.
James Fisher shares were up 0.6% at 1,285.00 pence early Wednesday.
