LONDON (Alliance News) - ITV PLC Friday confirmed it is in "exclusive discussions" about the potential acquisition of Talpa Media.
In a statement responding to press speculation, ITV confirmed it was in talks with Talpa Media but said there was no guarantee any deal would be agreed.
ITV said it is "continually assessing opportunities to grow and develop its business".
Talpa Media is Netherlands-based international content production company that was founded in 2004 by Dutch media entrepreneur John de Mol.
ITV shares were down 0.1% to 227.10 pence per share on Friday afternoon.
