Invinity Energy wins first Endurium Enterprise order in France

29th Dec 2025 09:43

(Alliance News) - Invinity Energy Systems PLC on Monday said it has secured the first commercial order for its Endurium Enterprise product, marking an initial sale of the energy storage system launched earlier this year.

The London-based manufacturer of utility-grade energy storage systems said the project involves a 3.5 megawatt-hour Endurium Enterprise system to be deployed at the site of Charles Murgat, an aquaculture business in France. The battery system will be co-located with an existing on-site solar photovoltaic array.

Invinity said the vanadium flow battery installation will allow the customer to maximise the use of self-generated solar power and provide services such as peak load management. This is expected to reduce energy costs.

Endurium Enterprise is designed for commercial and industrial customers seeking on-site energy storage to deliver low-cost and low-carbon electricity, Invinity said.

Delivery of the batteries is anticipated in the second half of 2026.

Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Marren said: "We launched Endurium Enterprise in September this year and this announcement marks our first such sale. Endurium Enterprise is designed for C&I businesses often using the system "behind-the-meter" and the use case by Charles Murgat is exactly the sort that we envisaged.

"The efforts during 2025 by Invinity to reduce the product cost of Endurium are now starting to be rewarded. This sale, which is not reliant on subsidy or grant funding but is justified on a purely commercial basis, is an incredibly exciting milestone and provides an excellent reference case for other businesses looking to reduce their energy supply costs by deploying our vanadium flow batteries."

Invinity Energy Systems shares were up 1.1% at 18.70 pence in London on Monday morning.
