Zenova Group PLC - London-based fire safety and heat management technology firm - Announces a "major development" in the certification process of its products, with its Zenova FP fire protection intumescent paint successfully fire tested by the UK's Better Regulation Executive.
Explains that UK building regulation requires all steel used in the construction industry to be treated with intumescent paint. Says that Zenova FP gaining fire protection effectiveness confirmation for steel applications will open up 60% to 70% of the total UK addressable market for intumescent coatings for Zenova products.
"We are pleased at this successful independent testing and validation of Zenova FP performance on steel. This opens up large potential market segments in particular for fire protection solutions on steel for the construction industry," comments Chief Executive Thomas Melchior.
