IN BRIEF: Xtract Resources finishes first phase drilling at Bushranger

Xtract Resources PLC - London-based metals and minerals producer - Completes the final hole of the phase one diamond drilling programme at the Racecourse Inferred Mineral Resource on the Bushranger copper-gold exploration project, located in the Lachlan Fold Belt of New South Wales, Australia. The company says the hole encounteres typical porphyry-style copper mineralisation from 170 metres to 950 metres depth, passing through the 310 metres wide potassic alteration zone with well-developed chalcopyrite-pyrite-pyrrhotite mineralisation from 570 metres to 880 metres down-hole. Xtract says the drill rig will now stand down pending commencement of the planned phase two drilling programme.

Current stock price: 6.60 pence, up 1.5% on Tuesday

Year-to-date change: almost tripled from 1.78p on December 31
