Worldsec Ltd - South East Asia-focused investment company - For the six months ended June 30, swings to pretax profit of USD7,000 from loss of USD265,000 the prior year, due to a gain realised from the redemption of 15% in the group's initial investment holdings in the Unicorn Equity Investment Portfolio class D shares.
This is on revenue which grows 4.2% year-on-year to USD50,000 from USD48,000 on higher dividend income.
