Velocity Composites PLC - Burnley, England-based supplier of composite material kits to aerospace and other high-performance manufacturers - Says Chief Financial Officer Rob Smith intends to step down by October 31, the end of the company's financial year, subject to a suitable replacement taking office, says the company. Notes Smith became CFO back in 2024, and will support the company in its handover to his eventual successor. The company says the search for a new CFO is underway.
"Rob has made a substantial contribution to Velocity since his appointment, providing steady financial leadership during a period of important development for the company. We are grateful for his commitment in remaining with the business through to the end of the financial year and for agreeing to continue as company secretary, which will greatly assist the transition and ensure continuity for the Company," says Velocity Composites Chair Andy Beaden.
