Value & Income Trust PLC - investment company - Reports net asset value per share of 226.47 pence as at September 30, down compared to 316.73p a year earlier and lower than 232.69p on March 31. The trust says transaction volumes since March have been running around one-third of normal levels, with meagre evidence in the weaker sectors of the market. Despite that the company maintains its dividend payout for the half-year at 5.80p per share.
