Upland Resources Ltd - upstream energy company focused on Southeast Asia - Says phase two of the Lost Soldier Oil & Gas development programme in the Green River Basin, Wyoming, United States, has commenced. Upland Resources says current estimates indicate potential resources of up to 5 to 6 trillion cubic feet of gas. The company plans to drill the third GMF-5 well to about 19,000 feet to gather more information on deeper resource potential. LSOG plans to connect three wells to the pipeline being built, with production expected before year-end. Upland Resources Chief Executive Officer says: "This is an important milestone for LSOG and comes at a time when Upland continues to make significant progress across its core Southeast Asian portfolio. Our focus remains firmly on advancing these opportunities, which are progressing rapidly, and we look forward to providing further updates to the market as appropriate."
