Trekor Metals Ltd - North America-focused copper producer formerly known as Taseko Mines - Says in the second quarter of 2026, at its Gibraltar mine in British Columbia in Canada, it produced 30.3 million pounds of copper and 559,000 pounds of molybdenum. Copper sales from Gibraltar totalled 32.2 million pounds. At Florence Copper in Arizona meanwhile, Trekor says the production ramp-up advanced smoothly in recent months, with a total of 5.2 million pounds of copper cathode produced in the second quarter. The firm says: "With the wellfield and solvent extraction/electrowinning plant operating steady-state, the first new production wells were integrated into the system in early June, resulting in higher pregnant leach solution grades and increased copper production for the month.
Annual copper production guidance for 2026 is unchanged for both Gibraltar, between 110 million and 115 million pounds, and Florence Copper, between 30 and 35 million pounds.
