Smiths Group PLC - London-based engineering for energy, general industry, safety & security and aerospace markets - Sells 1.2 million shares in ICU Medical Inc, receiving net proceeds of USD152 million, which will be used for "general corporate purposes". The shares sold represent a 4.9% stake in ICU Medical. Smiths continues to hold 470,000 shares, a 1.9% stake. Nasdaq-listed ICU Medical has a market capitalisation of USD3.24 billion. It is a San Clemente, California-based provider of intravenous therapy.
