Sanderson Design Group PLC - Buckinghamshire-based interior design and furnishings company - Inks collaboration with Giles Deacon, a London-based couture designer and illustrator. Under the agreement, Deacon will create a capsule collection of fabrics, wallpapers and apparel for the Sanderson brand. Expects the collaboration to launch early next year.
"Giles Deacon, whose designs are in permanent collections at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, is known for mixing fashion, fine art, theatre and glamour," Sanderson says.
Chief Executive Lisa Montague comments: "We are delighted to be working with Giles Deacon, who I've worked with in the past, in this innovative collaboration to bring fashion to the Sanderson brand. Giles is a hugely talented designer whose great breadth of skills in print and textiles represents an exciting combination with our Sanderson brand."
