Ruffer Investment Co Ltd - investment firm aiming for positive total annual return of "at least twice" Bank of England bank rate - Says Henry Maxey, chief investment officer of manager Ruffer LLP, buys 2.0 million Ruffer Investment redeemable participating preference shares at 265.36 pence each, around GBP5.3 million in total.
"Disclosure of this purchase is not a regulatory requirement but it was felt by the directors of the company to be of interest to shareholders," Ruffer Investment says.
