Robert Walters PLC - London-based recruitment firm - Pretax loss narrows to GBP6.8 million in the six months that ended June 30 from GBP10.2 million a year before, despite net fee income edging down 3.9% to GBP134.6 million from GBP140.0 million. The revenue decline is 3% at constant currency, and Robert Walters notes that represents "a clear sequential improvement from the 2025 trend", when net fees fell 14%.
However, Robert Walters says it still expects net fees in 2026 to be slightly below 2025. The company now expects full-year results to be at the upper end of market expectations. It cites the consensus range as an operating loss of between GBP8.1 million and GBP14.2 million in 2026, narrowed from GBP14.9 million in 2025. Operating loss in the first half is GBP4.5 million, narrowed from GBP7.8 million a year before.
Amid the losses, Robert Walters declares no interim dividend, unchanged from a year before.
