Prudential PLC - London-based, Asia-focused provider of life and health insurance and asset management - Confirms that the share buyback started in January has been increased to USD1.47 billion from USD1.2 billion. The buyback will continue to be run by JP Morgan Securities PLC and be completed by December 18. The larger buyback means Prudential will buy back about 4% of its total shares.
