Polar Capital Global Financials Trust PLC - invests in financial companies for income and capital growth - Raises GBP16.6 million gross in a placing of 9.9 million new shares at 167.75 pence per share. Placing price is 1.5% premium to net asset value, including current year income, as of Thursday's market close. Net proceeds will be invested in the global financial sector in line with its investment objective. Will have 328.8 million shares after placing, so the new shares represent 3.0% of this.
