Ormonde Mining PLC - Limerick, Ireland-based mineral resources group - Investee company TRU Precious Metals Corp commences a new 2026 field works programme in Newfoundland, Canada. The programme, at TRU's Golden Rose Project, is "strategically located along the gold deposit" in central Newfoundland. Ormonde, which owns 36.3% of TRU, notes that the 2026 programme is a follow-up to a successful 2025 field programme at the same Golden Rose property. Says Ormonde Chair Brian Timmons: "Against a backdrop of strong gold prices, we remain confident in the potential of Golden Rose as a high-quality exploration asset and look forward to following the progress of the drilling programme and results over the coming months." TRU Chief Executive Officer Steve Nicol adds: "The company's focus is to efficiently discover the full gold and copper potential across the entire Golden Rose Property aiming to identify multiple mineralised zones leading to economic scale."
