IN BRIEF: NCC starts share buyback to return cash from Escode sale

NCC Group PLC - Manchester, England-based cyber security and resilience provider - Starts GBP15 million shares buyback to complete the return of capital from NCC's disposal of its Escode division in May. NCC sold Escode, which provides software escrow and verification services, to TDR Capital LLP for an enterprise value of GBP275.0 million. NCC is returning GBP185 million of the net proceeds to shareholders, with the first GBP170 million of this already completed by means of a tender offer. The share buyback starts on Monday and will be completed by October 23, 2027. It will be run by brokers Peel Hunt LLP and Investec Bank PLC.

Current stock price: 141.50 pence, up 0.8% for GBP403.0 million market capitalisation
