NB Private Equity Partners Ltd - private equity investment company managed by Neuberger Berman - Net asset value per share on June 30 is USD29.24. This represents a total return of 4.8% in the first half of 2023 and 5.4% over the 12 months from June 30, 2022. This is primarily driven by a 3.8% increase at constant currency in the valuations of private companies in its portfolio. By comparison, however, the MSCI World index total return is 15.4% and 19.1%, respectively.
NAV per share falls back since, to USD27.93 on August 31. This is due to declines in quoted share prices and negative foreign exchange movements, NB Private Equity Partners says. The portfolio is heavily weighted toward North America, representing 74% of holdings.
Current stock price: 1,662.12 pence, down 1.5% in London on Tuesday
