Motif Bio PLC - AIM cash shell - For 2020, pretax loss narrows to USD734,000 from USD98.7 million the year before, due to the non-repeating of a USD83.8 million impairment on the investment in subsidiary Motif BioSciences Inc.
So far, Motif Bio says conditional marketing has started for a fundraising to accompany its reverse takeover with a UK-based antibody-drug conjugate discovery and development company. Motif is looking to acquire the entire issued share capital of the target firm.
