IN BRIEF: Mila Resources reports further gold intercepts at Yarrol

12th Oct 2026 14:16

Mila Resources PLC - Australia-focused gold and copper developer - Reports further gold intercepts from four holes at its Yarrol project in Queensland, Australia. The results come from a nine-hole reverse circulation drilling programme. Highlights include 2 metres at 11.85 grammes of gold per tonne from 156 metres, including 1 metre at 23.40 grammes per tonne, and a 43-metre interval grading 1.06 grammes per tonne. Drilling extends known mineralisation at Yarrol North to about 170 metres vertical depth, beyond the historic drilling limit of about 70 metres. The company expects results from the remaining five holes in the coming weeks and is targeting an initial mineral resource estimate in the fourth quarter of 2026. Executive Chair Mark Stephenson says: "These latest results from Yarrol are particularly encouraging and continue to strengthen our belief that we are dealing with a significantly larger gold system than was recognised historically."
