IN BRIEF: Mendell Helium shares rise as starts trading on AIM

Mendell Helium PLC - helium producer in the US state of Kansas - Shares rise on their first day of trading on the AIM market in London, having moved from Aquis Stock Exchange. Mendell originally listed on AQSE as Voyager Life PLC before selling the Voyager plant-based health and wellness business to Orsus Therapeutics PLC in 2024. It changed its name to Mendell Helium after buying M3 Helium Corp, which has interests in helium wells near Dodge City, and it has a market capitalisation about GBP15 million.

"We are delighted to begin trading on AIM today," comments Chief Executive Officer Nich Tulloch. "As we advance our significant development programme in Fort Dodge, Kansas, this marks the right moment to join a globally recognised growth market that aligns with our long-term ambitions."

Current stock price: last traded at 4.74 pence, up from 4.50p on AQSE on Monday

12-month change: up from 2.25p
