IN BRIEF: LondonMetric buys grocery site, sells DIY retail property

LondonMetric Property PLC - invests in distribution and long income properties across UK - Buys building in South Ruislip, west London, for GBP18.0 million. The 41,000 square-foot building is let to discount grocer Aldi and to fellow retailer B&M European Value Retail SA and is adjacent to an Asda supermarket. The property generates GBP900,000 in rent per year. Additionally, LondonMetric says Metric Income Plus Ltd Partnership, its joint venture with Universities Superannuation Scheme Ltd, sells three properties for GBP14.2 million, which represents a 9% premium to book value. The buildings in Speke, Barnsley and Beverley are let to DIY store chain Wickes Group PLC and homewares retailer Dunelm Group PLC.
