HSBC Holdings PLC - London-based bank - Tender for up to USD6.75 billion in debt notes receive acceptances from holders that will result in a total payment of USD4.90 billion by HSBC. This includes USD1.48 billion for USD1.52 billion in principal amount tendered for USD2.00 billion in notes due September 2028; USD1.00 billion for USD973.4 million in principal amount tendered for USD2.25 billion in November 2028 notes; USD1.01 billion for USD1.00 billion in principal amount tendered after proration for USD1.85 billion in May 2028 notes; and USD1.40 billion for the same amount in principal amount tendered for USD2.50 billion in March 2028 notes.
The May 2028 notes receive USD1.46 billion in tenders but are subject to a sub-cap of USD1.00 billion. The March 2028 notes have a sub-cap of USD1.75 billion but tenders are short of this cap.
The tender is conducted at a 20 basis point fixed spread to a reference yield set for each of the note series, other than the November 2028 notes, which have a 50 basis point spread.
