Hercules PLC - Cirencester, England-based labour supply company for the UK infrastructure and construction sectors - Construction Services division has, during the fourth quarter of the year ended September 30, won new contracts worth approximately GBP5 million combined "to deliver Civils Projects work for its clients in the UK water sector." Hercules says most of these started in financial 2026, and it expects to complete them "in the next six months." Says they comprise a range of civil engineering and infrastructure works supporting the UK water sector's ongoing AMP8 regulatory investment programme. Notes that regulator Ofwat has committed more than GBP104 billion to water utility companies between 2025 and 2030. Says the contracts "reflect Hercules' expertise within the UK water sector and reflect the continued development of the Civil Projects business, including its growing capability to self-deliver infrastructure projects."
"These awards build on the strong progress made by our Civil Projects business during the year and demonstrate the continued demand for our civil engineering and infrastructure capabilities," says Chief Executive Brusk Korkmaz. "As we enter FY2027, we remain focused on leveraging our strong experience within the water sector to drive additional opportunities, and on delivering high-quality projects safely and efficiently for our clients."
