Hansard Global PLC - Isle of Man-based specialist long-term savings provider - Pretax profit for the year ended June 30 surges to GBP6.5 million from GBP1.0 million the year before. New business sales, in present value of new business premiums terms, rise 31% to GBP108.3 million from GBP82.4 million. In annual premium equivalent terms, they rise 20% to GBP14.6 million from GBP12.2 million. Underlying operating profit rises to GBP5.2 million from GBP4.3 million. Hansard recommends final dividend of 2.65 pence per share, unchanged, as is the total dividend of 4.45p. Assets under administration total GBP1.26 billion at June 30, up 12% from GBP1.13 billion one year prior. Cash and deposits total GBP78.5 million, up from GBP66.2 million.

"We delivered our strongest new business growth in recent years..Growth was broad-based across products, markets and distribution relationships. We launched locally licensed products in Japan, received in-principle approval for a DIFC licence in the UAE, strengthened our position in Latin America and made significant progress in resolving legacy litigation matters. These developments have materially reduced uncertainty and allow increasing management focus to be directed towards growth and strategic execution...We enter FY27 with a strengthened operating platform and a clear strategy focused on expanding distribution, deepening adviser engagement and improving service. Our priority is disciplined execution as we seek to build a larger, more profitable and resilient Hansard over the longer term."
