IN BRIEF: Gresham House Income & Growth VCT annual dividend down 5%

17th Sep 2026 13:03

Gresham House Income & Growth VCT PLC - venture capital trust that aims to provide a steady stream of tax-free dividends from its investment portfolio's income and capital gains - Declares 2.25 pence second interim dividend, down from the 2.50p paid last year and as a first interim dividend this year. The resulting full-year payout for financial 2026, which ends on September 30, of 4.75p is down 5.0% from 5.00p in financial 2025. However, Gresham House I&G notes that is in line with its annual dividend target of 7% of opening net asset value per share. The company also is conducting a share buyback. On July 27, it bought back 2.3 million shares at 56.54p per share. NAV per share is 60.17p on June 30, down from 62.02p on March 31. However, this decline of 1.85p is due to the payment of the 2.50p first interim dividend, offset by an unrealised increase in its portfolio valuation. Excluding the dividend, NAV increased by 1.0% during the recent quarter.

Current stock price: 56.00p, down 1.8% in London on Thursday

12-month change: down 10%
