Gemfields Group Ltd - London-headquartered gemstones supplier - Appoints Patrick Sacco as non-executive director, effective Monday. Sacco is the managing director of Assore International Holdings Ltd, which currently owns a 27% stake in Gemfields.
"Sacco has extensive management experience in the mining and mineral marketing sector with specific expertise in iron ore, manganese ore, manganese alloys and chrome ore," says company.

Year-to-date change: up over 100% from 6.75p on December 30
