IN BRIEF: Former BHP exec Laura Tyler is Adriatic Metals interim CEO

7th Aug 2024 14:23

Adriatic Metals PLC - developing Vares silver project in Bosnia & Herzegovina and Raska zinc-silver project in Serbia - Paul Cronin resigns as chief executive officer and managing director and will leave on Friday. Cronin is relocating to Australia for "family reasons", Adriatic says. Non-Executive Director Laura Tyler will become interim CEO. Tyler's executive experience includes being chief technical officer at diversified miner BHP Group Ltd.

"Living and working in Bosnia & Herzegovina at the project has been instrumental to successfully steering the company through permitting, construction and the commencement of production, but now is the time for new leadership, with a skillset better aligned to the needs of the company, and its stakeholders," outgoing CEO Cronin explains.

Non-Executive Director Sanela Karic will move to executive director for corporate affairs and will lead the company's subsidiary in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
