Xtract Resources PLC - diversified metals and minerals producer - Completes first hole, BRDD-20-001, of phase one diamond drilling programme at the Racecourse mineral resource. Racecourse is located at the Bushranger copper-gold project in the Lachlan Fold Belt, Australia. Says it has drilled down the plunge of the deposit at 1,147 metres depth. Notes well-developed copper mineralisation and potassic alteration at the hole from a 110 metres depth to past 1,050 metres, where both become weaker.
"We are very pleased with the outcome of the first down-plunge hole at Bushranger. We now intend to complete a four to six-hole follow-up drill programme across the deposit to obtain width and grade information. This information will then be utilised to restate the size and grade of the resource," says Executive Chair Colin Bird.
