Endeavour Mining PLC - London-based mining company - Reports that an employee at its Ity mine in the Ivory Coast died on Wednesday. Says he was found unresponsive in the processing plant prior to his death.
Endeavour says it has launched a comprehensive investigation and will report the findings alongside its third-quarter results. Notes that Ity's mining and processing activities "continue uninterrupted."
