Cobra Resources PLC - South Australian mineral exploration and development company - Confirms results from two of four drill holes at its Blue Rose prospect in South Australia, a copper-gold-molybdenum discovery within the Manna Hill Copper Project. Mineralisation is defined at depths beyond 300 metres, as the mineralisation style supports a greater porphyry system. Diamond drilling below the shallow skarn discovery returned copper-gold intersections alongside molybdenum mineralisation and hydrothermal breccias.
The first two holes contain zones approaching 1% copper, with MHDD002 returning 23 metres at 0.63% copper, including 12.4 metres at 1.01%, while MHDD004 returned 36 metres at 0.39% copper, including 10 metres at 0.99%. Assays from MHDD001 and MHDD003 are pending, while up to 6,000 metres of follow-up reverse-circulation drilling across 52 holes is underway at Blue Rose, Netley Hill, Anabama and Neptune Rose, Cobra confirms. The programme targets strike extensions at Blue Rose and tests the other prospects.
