8th Feb 2024 11:08

CMO Group PLC - Plymouth, England-based online retailer of building materials - Chief Operating Officer Sue Packer steps down from board, effective immediately, and will retire at the end of March after five years at CMO and forty years in the industry. Company also announces promotion of Commercial Director Callum Tasker to chief commercial officer, replacing Packer on its board with immediate effect. Tasker joined CMO as sales & logistics manager in 2010, before promotion to operations director in 2015 and to commercial director in 2019. He previously worked at Sheffield-based construction products supplier SIG PLC for five years.

Key Capital Partners LLP's Mike Fell meanwhile replaces James Excell as his firm's representative on CMO's board. Key Capital, co-founded by Fell, is CMO's largest shareholder.

Chief Executive Officer Dean Murray says Tasker "has a passion for detail and driving profitable growth", adding: "We could not have a better replacement for Sue in Callum who has worked with and alongside her for the past five years. This will provide a seamless succession."
