Gemfields Group Ltd - London-headquartered gemstones supplier - Says South African businessman Christo Wiese has resigned as a non-executive director, and company is in the process of confirming a replacement. "It is with great regret that we say farewell to Christo for he has served the company well over the years, during which the board and management have benefitted from his vast breadth and depth of experience," says Chair Martin Tolcher.
