IN BRIEF: Chaleit eyes GBP2.1 million IPO; confirms price per share

Chaleit Holdings PLC - Cambridge, England-based cyber security consultancy - Sets the issue price for its planned initial public offering on the AIM market at 50 pence per share, implying a market capitalisation of GBP11.2 million on admission. Chaleit now expects the IPO to comprise approximately GBP2.1 million of shares, compared with GBP1.6 million previously expected. Of this, GBP1.1 million will be raised through the issue of new shares, while GBP1.0 million will come from the sale of existing shares held by Founder & Chief Executive Officer Dan Haagman. Haagman currently owns 81.59% of Chaleit and will hold 65.22% following admission. Chair Ken Ford holds 6.47%, while Chief Financial & Operating Officer Jody Hyde and close relatives hold 9.95%.

Chaleit was founded in 2021 and describes itself as "a penetration testing and offensive security consultancy, examining technology from the perspective of a malicious attacker to reveal how vulnerabilities arise, how systems can be compromised, and how organisations can respond before those vulnerabilities are exploited". Chaleit has also expanded into AI and language model security, cloud security, DevSecOps, and cyber advisory, governance and compliance work.

Trading on AIM remains expected to begin on October 7.
