IN BRIEF: Cerillion agrees GBP4.3 million OpenNet contract extension

Cerillion PLC - London-based billing and customer relations management software firm - Secures a six year contract extension worth GBP4.3 million with Danish telecoms business OpenNet, who has been a customer since 2017. During the extension period, OpenNet will upgrade its core business support system platform to Cerillion's latest technology, Cerillion 21. OpenNet will also join the Cerillion's Evergreen Software Programme, the company says.

Chief executive of OpenNet, Henrik Moller Nielsen, says: "Working with Cerillion, we have been able to very quickly establish and grow our wholesale business, safe in the knowledge we have a robust, scalable and flexible [business support system] platform underpinning our operations. By extending our agreement and joining Cerillion's Evergreen Software Programme, we are taking this to the next level, giving us access to exciting new capabilities and future-proofing our business for the challenges of tomorrow."

Current stock price: 797.00 pence, up 4.2% on Tuesday

Year-to-date change: up sharply from 415.00p
