Celsius Resources Ltd - developer of the Maalinao-Caigutan-Biyog copper-gold project in the Philippines - Advises that it and other complainants have filed a verified disciplinary complaint seeking the disbarment of Attorney Julito Sarmiento and other respondent lawyers from Sarmiento Loriega Law for alleged violations of the Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability. This follows the recent filing of a criminal complaint with the Philippines Department of Justice against Sarmiento around an alleged contravention under Section 2-A of the Anti-Dummy Law.
