ASA International Group PLC - Weybridge, Surrey-based microfinance lender - As at May 31, liquidity remains high with USD103 million in unrestricted cash. Pipeline of funding deals under negotiation stands at USD203 million, while all operating subsidiaries other than India and Myanmar achieve collection efficiency of more than 90%.
Client numbers remain stable at 2.4 million, however strategic reduction of disbursements in India and Sri Lanka cause gross outstanding loan portfolio to drop 12% year-on-year to USD414 million
